Donna Connew

Donna is a highly experienced Qualified Person, bringing more than 35 years’ experience across pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Quality Control. She has spent over 25 years working as a QP, alongside significant experience as a Responsible Person and Responsible Person for Import, giving her a broad and practical understanding of quality, regulatory, and supply chain responsibilities within the pharmaceutical sector.

Her areas of expertise include operational QA and QMS oversight, analytical testing, validation, root cause analysis, investigations, inspection and audit management, process improvement, and training. This breadth of experience enables her to support both routine quality activities and more complex or atypical project work with a clear, structured, and compliance-focused approach.

As a QP, Donna supports clients with the responsibilities associated with batch certification and release, helping to ensure products are assessed in line with relevant regulatory requirements, quality standards, and the expectations placed on licence holders. Her RP and RPi experience also provides valuable additional insight into wholesale distribution, importation, and the wider controls required to maintain product quality and patient safety.

Donna holds a BSc (Hons), PGDip, and is a Chartered Chemist, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and Chartered Scientist. Her technical depth, operational experience, and pragmatic approach make her a valuable part of TDP’s quality and compliance support for clients.
